I built 5 Things in AI
A plain text daily brief on the 5 most important things that happen in AI

Too much fluff.
I’ve been playing around fetching the right kind of news that might interest the Lumberjack community.
I also tend to get overwhelmed with information and anything that has a high signal to noise ratio is a win.
This is a new attempt at that.
I’m launching 5 Things in AI.
This is a free, daily briefing on the 5 most relevant things that you should know about.
Delivered to your inbox every morning without the fluff, just the plain text and direct links to sources, nothing else.

How it works
5 Things is powered by a smart cognitive workflow that runs every morning. It fetches the news, then evaluates every news item against how good fit it would be for Lumberjack readers. Filters out the most impactful ones, then generates the summaries mimicking how I’d write it. Once done, it sends it off to Kit and schedules it.
It’s a simple Make scenario, look:
Enjoy!
5 Things is separate from Lumberjack. This is a more frequent (daily) addition to what I’m doing, in a way that’s fully AI powered. I’ll be constantly monitoring the outputs and the feedback from the subscribers to make sure that it sources the right articles.
